Cd Player Change In E36. (pictures Inside)

Hello boys and girls.

I've just bought my "new" car. Its a BMW 323i - 97. I really love this car and I already feel like BMW is the only car for me. B)

However, I have a small problem that I hope someone here can help me with. I want to replace the original CD plater with a new one. Ive bought a new CD player with mp3 support, I was going to remove the old player today and put the new one in, but it seems that this is way more trixxy than i thought it would be. I probably need to reach the old player from behind to unplug the cables but I don't think that the "sidewalls" can be removed at all.. so I cant get behind the player.

I dont know what to do. =( can anyone help me? please.
