CD changer wire

I'm replacing my OEM HU with a Blaupunkt tonight. I need to run a new changer
cable back to the trunk. Any thoughts on how to do that ? Should I use the factory changer cable as a snake ? Is there any way I could re-wire the OEM cable and
use it for the new one ? Looks like the power is part of the wire on the Blaupunkt cable and not a separate plug like the OEM/Alpine. Anyone know the path that the
OEM cable uses if I need to follow that ?
