Where can I find installation guide to installing a BMW original CD changer in an E39 model (528 1999). Specifically, where and how do I find the 17 poin Radio Connector to validate the CD wires are hooked to the Radio?
Your e39 is probably prewired for a changer. Provided your car is equiped with an oem headunit with changer controls (I haven't seen one that isn't), your changer cable should be pre-run from the radio to the trunk behind a tuft of carpet that is clearly labled. You then need only get the oem changer, connnect, and mount. Not necessarily in that order :P
