Anyone have any how to info on installing one? I recently purchased a used changer from Bavarian Auto Recycling but they have no "how to" info on installation and suggested I post on this forum. If anyone can, could, or would help, it would be greatly appreciated!!! Also pics of one installed would be helpful. They tell me I have the mounting bracket that will mount either in the center of the trunk, or on the left hand side. I'd like to insall it on the left hand side. It's a Alpine 6 disk changer. Thanks loads!!!!
If your car has the little sticker on the trunk arms that says "Prewired for CD Changer", which it should, there will be a cable that the changer will plug into. Thats pretty much it. If its not prewired, it gets a little more difficult because you need to find out if the radio will support a changer, and run the cable, etc.
