Hi, how are you? I am a student who just brought a used 1997 BMW 528i. I noticed that this car only has a Radio&Tape player. There are many cool Muti-Media Center on eBay. They have CD, MP3, DVD, GPS, USB&SD import, and 7” touch screen. For example, this following link:

But I also realized that these players are smaller than the original R&T player. Not so punctilious measure is that the R&T player is 12” long and 4-5” height. And the M-M Centers are usually 7” long and 4” height. Anyway, they are not in the same size.
Also I consider they might not use the same kind of cables. For instance, I saw the photos in the following link:

The cable looks quite different. So it also concerns me.
I want to know if anyone has changed the R&T player to a newer player or these kinds of M-M center. If yes, would you please share some experience with me? Thank you so much!
