BMW E39 sound system?

I have a BMW 528i E39, 1999, and as i only have a BMW REVERSE audio system which does not include any CD's at all, i would just like to know whether its possible to listen to any Cd's if I buy a CD changer that goes in the boot.

If anyone please knows,cause i wouldn't like to just throw my money away on the stupid CD changer,cause i'm pretty much convinced that it won't work with this BMW REVERSE audio system which is the cheapest option only with a cassete!

does it say prewired for a changer in the trunk?

on my 1998 528i I plugged my after-market ALPINE into the pre-wired connector in the trunk and it works perfectly.

Chicago is/was yours a DSP system?
