Hey,

I currently own a 2004 BMW 325i with a clarion in-dash LCD. I have AUX cables coming under the front passenger seat (in which i hook up my ps2).

Now, I heard that you can buy a y-splitter and hook up your ipod through the AUX cables. That's fine and dandy, except it's extremely, extremely inconvenient. My ipod would be under the seat of the passenger side >_<

How would you hook this up? I called up my local BMW dealer, and asked if they could do something. They said they'd have to check it out. Except "checking it out" is $110 an hour (even if it doesnt work).

Thanks

I have a 2002 325i and an Alpine HU. I had my installer run the Y cable into the ashtray area. The ashtray cover keeps the cable out of sight when not used. I have a Dell DJ, not an iPod, but the hookup is the same.

I also purchased a Belkin Cup holder for the Dell DJ, I think something similar is available for the ipod.

Your situation is different with the PS 2. I don't think you can have both devices connected at the same time.

Alternatively, you could try running a cable from where you hook up the PS2 to a place like the cup holder where you can keep your iPod.
