best method to connect connectors & cables?

just received my cable for power, speakers etc together with gold plated spade connectors to do my install.
whats the best connection method...do i use ordinary solder?

hey bud, can you give us a bit more info? are these connectors to connect wire to an amp, an amp to a battery, wire to speakers...what are we installing here?

yes sure
i bought cut speaker cable, power and ground cable and remote
together with this i got some spade connectors of appropriate sizes. they are all gold plated while the speaker cable is i believe copper, the power and ground cables are steel by the look of them
pasted below

2 x 8awg Fork Terminal (TEFR/TEFB/TE) = £1.40
Fitting Options Self Assembly
Color Red
1 x 4.00mm2 Speaker Cable (SB400E) = £23.25
Length 15 metres
2 x 8awg Fork Terminal (TEFR/TEFB/TE) = £1.40
Fitting Options Self Assembly
Color Black
1 x AGU Fuse Holder - Hex (FAGU04HE) = £5.95
1 x AGU Fuses (FAGU80-30) = £1.75
Fuse Size 40A
1 x 8awg Primary Power Cable (C08G8) = £1.50
Length 1 metre
Color Transparent Blue
8 x Speaker Fork Terminal (TSFR/TSFB) = £1.20
Color Black

when connecting connectors to wire, the standard is simply to use a proper crimping tool....such as this click here (weird place to buy, but those are the crimpers to have)

as for connecting wire to wire, standard solder w/ heat activated shrink wrap or crimp connectors (CLICK HERE)will ensure a solid bond w/ longevity
