Anyone ever order from etronics.com and/or online hookedontronics.com and/or onlinecarstereo.com?

I'm about to order an Alpine HU (mp3) and was curious if anyone one has any experience with any of those companies because they are much cheaper then crutchfield.

Nope. Crutchfield is good for me. I'll pay a little more for peace of mind.

Yea, but when I can get a $400 HU for $280, it just makes sense.

Until you find out its refurbished or blemished or gray market.

however, etronics does look like it is backed by a few good reporting agencies.

Or even worse, they just flat out take your money. Happened to me.

My credit card company had to sue a site from which I ordered my Nakamichi head unit to get my/their money back. I ordered it, and some 37 days later, my credit card company went after them for not delivering product or refunding my purchase.

Nakamich isn't sold in any stores within 350 miles of me, so I didn't have much of a choice, but I certainly learned a good lesson.

I'm not saying those places are like that, but I KNOW crutchfield isn't, can't say the same for those asked about.
