Audio Noob...e36 Speakers

Hey, will these fit on the door? i have a 325is non-HK..i heard the doors are 4inch, will these work?

(1)4 Inch Speakers

Also, are the kick panel speakers and the rear the same? i know that they are the same size, but which would these fit in?

(2)5.25

and finally, if they are not the same, do i need components for the front? are the kick panel and tweeter suppose to come together? and wat the hell is the 4 inch speaker for? lol i know its alot of questions, but i jus inherited my dads 325is, and all the speakers are shot...(he didnt put in the code to test the radio) so any help would be very much appreciated... thanks!

All speaker sizes are listed in the FAQ. Youn should check there for some basic info.

tanks mr prez...i got it! the speakers i had lying around were actually 5.25 with component and ill jus get the other 4 speaks from wal mizart, thanks!

ok so u were right, speakers at walmart suck!!!!! ok some help, is it easy to DIY the speakers and HU? i have some rock fosgate component 5.25 with tweeters..and now all i need is the mids...rear are wirking fine... are the blaunkpaunts on sounddomain.com any good? thanks

Speakers are very easy in the e36, but you'll need a metric socket kit to get them out. Also, for the money, blaupunkt speakers cannot be beat.

Please note I said for the money. For a little more you can get a better setup.
