Im purchasing/installing a car audio system on Monday... The person installing my audio is installing kenwood headunit and MTX amps subs etc... Ive never heard of MTX but he said it the best for speakers and amps. So my question is MTX good? and is KENWOOD a good headunit also?

you will get what you want. MTX and Kenwood are good entry level brands that provide good quality for the money.
however, next time do a lot more research before you just go out and buy some stuff, you want to make sure all of the equipment your looking at will work out together (the amps will have enough power for the subs for example) because car audio salesmen don't give a shit about you and will sell you anything and tell you it is the best and will work out great. and next time install it yourself, its not hard at all.
