amp wire to the footwell??

hi ive just got a 316 1995 and am trying to fit my old subs and amps into the car but am haveing a problem finding the gromit to feed the wires through from the engine bay to the footwell.can anyone help?? i think ive found something that could be a way through to the footwell but it looks more like a breather than a gromit ive attached a picture of where abouts tht is behind the inlet. thanks

glad you got it figured out. these cars are a little tough to run wires, but are do-able. to werkz btw...

thanks! :P yer it was a bit tricky to run the wires through but got there in the end.just for future refrence there is a way through to the footwell just behind the brake mastercylinder its bit tricky to get to but you dont need to remove anything.

Hey, i've been on bimmerforums.com basically with the same issue as you, trying to get the power cable through from the battery to the footwell...

I have explained this and they are all stumped as to why my battery isn't in the trunk and therefore can't give me any help.

Do you possibly have a picture of where you ran the wire cabling through and where it came out in the footwell?

Or just a description of where it is as i'm not very mechanically minded and don't know where to find the brake mastercylinder! Any help would be great! Thanks
