Alpine Stero Deck ( How Do I Get It Out)

HOW DO I GET MY DECK OUT I WANT AN MP3 PLAYER IN AND THE GERMAN ECONOMY IS TRYING TO CHARGE ME AND ARM AND A LEG FOR THE REMOVAL AND INSTALL... COULD SOMEONE PLEAE HELP ME OUT..... I HAVE A 92 bmw 318is AND ITS AN ALPINE DECK NOT SURE IF ITS THE FACTORY MODEL OR NOT......IT HAS THE CD CHANGER ATTACHED TO IT BUT A CASSATE PLAYER AS THE DECK

Which oem deck is it? What year is your car? Need more info, and we'll be glad to help.

Its a 92 BMW318is, with an Alpine cassate deck connected to a cd change, not sure if its the factory deck or not... I don't think that it is because it has a detachable faceplate.... Thanks for the help (and sorry about the shouting)

Carefully pull off the trim ring. There is a little lever on both sides. They should be in the down position. Move those up about 1/4" to the center position, and it will slide out. They are spring-loaded so you will have to hold them in the center. Hope that helps.
