the alpine cda-9833 seems like a cool cd player but i was reading that i might need to order a extra harness for my car and i was also reading something about the V-Drive wher you have to wire the unit str8 to the battery? kind of confused me. anyone that has this player, how hard was the install? and how does it look/run? thanks fellaz..
It was extremely easy to install. I just cut the factory wiring, because they didn't make a wiring harness. I didn't have to run anything to the battery, because there's already a wire going to the battery. Works fine, sounds awesome, looks cool. Took me an afternoon, and I made it look cool with heat shrink.
