ok I need some expert advice guys,

i drive a e36 325is.

i want good sounds without adding too much wait or losing trunk space.basically, i just need a head unit(mp3 capable)..2 10's (or 1 12'?)...and 1 or 2 amps? can u guys give me some recommendations? thanks fellaz

You new HU will send the signal to the factory amp, so the speakers wont be getting anymore power without bypassing it first. That in mind, Alpine makes good HUs and Infinity speakers+basslink will round out the sounds nicely.

ok but what brand and size subs/amps? i only want either 1 12 or 2 10's and a decent amp(s) to power everything so wat wattage?

Have a search for instructions for this. It sounds awesome. The HU is stock powering the front speakers, rear speakers disconnected but sending signal to sub amy. That single 10 has now been replaced with a single 15. A single 12 works very well to If you do this and go for a single 12 I would recommend a Rockford Fosgate P212S4 sub as I know the thiels are good enough for this sort of configuration. 15" is awesom fun though.
