Hm it seems as if I have a problem that nobody else could hardly have, and they have a problem which i don't have... heh, the actual display on my radio which shows the station that you're listening to on the radio.. that part works... it's the LED's or whatever you call them behind the buttns that you press, those don't light up. I've tried checking the connection of the wires in the back and they are very secure. Any ideas?

I'd see if you could possibly pry one of the bottons off... if so.. see if there is some type of replacable light... Thats is the only thing that I could think of... unless you can take the face plate off some how... I dont know.. and see if you can get to the lights that way. Good luck!

Hmm, I'll try taking the faceplate off, except it's not just one button, it's all the buttons in the head unit. About 6 months ago the buttons would light up then sometimes it wouldn't, it just became increasingly worse till finally the buttons have not lit up in about 2 months. I'll open up the headunit and see if there's anything that looks funny... other than that I'm clueless... does anyone know exactly what triggers the buttons to back-light for the head unit? Any other suggestions? Thanks
