6 disc changer probs?

I have a '94 318i and
my 6 cd disc changer sh*t out on me.
I opened the sucker up and the device isn't
loading the cd from the magazine properly.
Goes about halfway then it's stuck. Had to click
it back into place myself.

Anyone ever have this problem? Is it the changer or the magazine?
What do you think about the sound quality of a universal
cd changer?

universals won't work with the 94, and no one sells any adapters for years earlier than 96. The only thing you can do is go RF, and the SQ will drop.

Have you unplugged the power with out the mag, and then insterted the mag empty? That forces is to reset completely.

I have one for sale. Lemme know if you are interested. It is out of 95 325i and has a brand new laser module. So it is pretty good.
