325i + DVD/PS2?

Hello,

I currently own a 2004 325i. I bought it with a standard cd player.

I went over to bestbuy.com to check out some of their in-dash DVD players, but the compability said none work with the 325i!

My question is: Do you know any that will work with the 325i? (In-dash).

My second question is, how useful are the sun visor LCD screens? And can i possibly hook this up to a ps2 in the glove compartment. This may be possible because it has a video in.

Thanks to any advice! I'm just looking to hook up a screen to dvd/ps2. ANYTHING but an overhead screen would be awesome.

Provided that your oem deck looks similar in size to the older oem decks, be patient. Usually dash kits run about a year behind the carmaker. I wouldnt be at all suprised if an older dash kit would work. (anyone with an e46 help me out).

As far as the sunvisor monitors go, I will give you the same advise as I would for any mobile video display- DON"T GO CHEAP.

Regardless of application (sunvisor, headliner, in dash, headrest, etc.) I consistently have problems with lesser brands (necovox, emerson, etc.) and never have problems with the name brand stuff (sony, kenwood, pioneer). I havent seen any name brand visor screens, but I'm sure their out there.

I have a stockroom full of defective (cheap a#$) screens right now. Spend the money on a good brand, it's worth it.

You can do it, there's a dash kit somewhere for the E46 BMW's that allows you to use a standard sized head unit. I think woobie has it.. (not sure)
