Hello friends..
I am new to this site and need your help. Well, I recently purchased a 2001 330i with Harmon Kardon audio system from my friend. Everything is working pretty fine, but the car audio quality is poor. So I am planning to add aftermarket subs to the Harmon Kardon. Just wondering do I need to get a new amp? If so, then what would be the easiest way to install these upgrades?
Easiest way? Use a qualified car audio shop. Do you need a new amp? If you want better sound, then yes. You can do it yourself, but on these cars, know what you are doing! Since it is a sub and it will require a breaker near the battery and hardwiring in, I would leave it to the experts.
