2001 320i audio problems *aftermarket stereo

Hey guys hopefully someone can help me, cause bestbuy and futureshop really suck at this...

i have installed a aftermarket stereo, and 2 12" subs and a amplifier..this is where the problem starts..hopefully someonecan help..

everytime i put the stereo over 27 on the volume, the subs pound, but the interior speakers cut out, sometimes i can pound the subs nice, but the music keeps cuttin out like a thump noise in them...i dont know if i shud replace the factory amp, and put something else in it, or what should i do,

what i basically want to do is, have a whole aftermarket system installed and have no problems in it, no stress no nothing,

WHAT DO U ALL SUGGEST??????

If you are going to keep the car for a long time, bypass the factory amp and run an aftermarket amp (with a built in high pass crossover) to some new midrange.

What's the radio go up to? You pretty much dont want to go over about 2/3 of the volume, i.e. 40 if it goes to 60. If it isnt loud enough for you then, you need bigger amps and/or bigger speakers.
