| Same here. I had been looking for a 1998 323is Coupe manual for God knows how long. Everyday I would search cars.com, autotrader.com and eBay. I had my money ready to go and everything for the best opportunity. I was willing to spend about $13,500 max. Anyway, my dad knew I was in the market for a bimmer and one day he e-mailed me a link to a black 98, just what I wanted, that was for sale on eBay. The guy that was selling it just had a baby with his wife and had to get rid of it ASAP. It's Buy It Now price was $11,500. I just e-mailed the guy and told him I could have it off his hands in 3 days for $11,000. He took the offer and I used the extra money I saved to get the 18" 2004 M3 rims. I bought the HELLA HID conversion kit (that I have yet to install) and now my car is exactly what I wanted. I would say eBay is a safe bet as long as the person checks out, as well as the VIN and pictures. I saved a crap load and got car that I wanted with 66,000 on it. Perfect.
