| So i got this knock off chip from ebay for my ETA, for about 40 bucks. It said it was an ac scnitzer chip, but i don't think they ever made one for the e30. I checked out the sellers other items and he had chips for all sorts of cars. I took the gamble and got it.
Well i've had it in for about a week and all i can say is WOW. It made a signifigant raise in range power. Even with my o2 senser sketchin out sometimes. It raised the rpm limiter to about 56- 5800. Hard to say when the tach only goes to 5g. Anyway, it pulls right through, from 2g all the way up solid to the top. When i used to pull a brakestand, on good pavement it would go for a bit but never have the power to keep pushing. Now when i drop the clutch the brakes don't even stop the car from moving, and the tires never stop spinning. And now i can drive my car hard and the gas milage stays as if i were babying the car. I will baby this tank to see how much of an approvement it will make.
All in all it was a great investment. I have heard by other chip makers of long term damage done by random chips. But i have know idea. For forty bucks, it is by far the biggest bang for your doller.
