Going to buy 750iL E38 , have some Q's about E38s

Well i decide to buy my 1st 4 door BMW and that will be 750iL E38
I know they are build from 95-01, but i wanna know little bit more about them, like difference in options, what rims they had in different years, is it motor same and what year would be the best one (yeah 01 is last year but that doesn't mean its best year)
What to watch out for and other stuff

Thanx

I have a 99 740il i almost bought a 00' 750il just check the water pump, a/c pump, aux waterpump, If the nav. glitches out (sometimes it is just the battery).

I sugest the m- Parallels 18"

If need any help with any issues just post them

I sugest paying a little more and get one with as low mileageyou can find(but not abused)

when you get in the car and start it on the gauge cluster hit the button on the right it will tell you the errors on the computer.

The 750 is quick for a 5,500lbs car.

you will love it..

A girl I work with has I think the 98 750.
It rides nice.

I wanted to warn you about the bulletproof package
as an option if you find one with that.
It IS super cool, dont get me wrong on that one.
But they are prone to having the
door hinge and window motors fail.

It is unbelievably expensive to have fixed.

Get a 740il. You'll be much happier because the maintenance on a v12 will kill you ... and it isn't really much slower than a 750, unless you're talking 100+mph.

Find yourself a nice 2001 740il w/ M-parallels, navigation, HIDs ... perfect car.
