| just yank up on the front of the seat.
Sometimes it will clear the light, so long as there is not a current issue to cause a check engine light to re-illuminate. You can also touch the positive and negative battery cable together for 10 sec (AFTER THE BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED AND REMOVED)
