2001 BMW 740i CupHolder Installation Help

I read a few guides on how to fix the cupholder on this vehicle but I couldnt find one on how to remove and install the cupholder. I am stuck at the point where I can not remove the wood trim on the passenger side dash. Is that necessary to remove? There is a screw inside a plastic rivet in the center and It doesn't seem like it snaps off. How do I remove that?

Does anyone have a detailed guide for removing/installing the cup holder.

The guide I found was just for repairing and I am stuck at the removal part, especially the wood trim on the passenger side.

Every seven series owner should bookmark e38.org BMW 7-series information and links. Another site is RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog. Every seven series owner should also be a member of bimmerforums and bimmerfest dot com. There is a huge community of seven series lovers out there who really love and care for our cars, and the amount of information shared on all forums is incredible.
