I currently own a 2001 330i and I am fairly happy with it. However I am reconsidering where I want to be financially and the payment on this guy is something id like to get rid of, therefore, I kind of want to sell it to my brother and look for an older vehicle once again.

Right now the vehicle that really catches my eye is the 1994 and 1995 750iL's. I think after some research that both of these cars were absolutely the most technologically advanced for their time, as well as having gobs of power and timeless elegance. One awesome thing for example, I love Xenon headlights, and as best as I can tell, the 1994 750iL was the very first car in the US, and possibly the world to have Xenon headlights (and maybe even before then but Edmunds only shows Xenons on the 1994, no earlier).

Do you guys recommend these cars? I like the 94 because its probably going to be cheaper. I would like to stay under 65,000 miles and would like to know the pros and cons of each, and what price I should expect to pay either one with that mileage. Maintenance-wise I am thinking this thing will be somewhat of a pit, but since I wont be spending nearly as much on a monthly payment I hope ill be ok?

Another interesting note, the 1994 750iL seems to be nearly impossible to find, there is ONE on ALL of Autotrader online right now, for the entire country, and it has 70k miles. The guy is asking 15,900.00 for it. There are ZERO on ebay, so maybe the 95 is a better choice.
