I have a 1993 740IL. I have the orginal BMW wiring manaul and have traced a no start problem down to the fuel pump fuse #23 not getting power. I cannot locate the fuel pump relay to check it next. any help with regards to its location would be greatly appreciated

they have alot on all 7 sereis cars yours I think is a e32 right?

Thats correct sorry about that. I purchased the scan tool from Bavarian Autosport as well as the Bentley Manual. I scaned the car and got a code 1A which the book says is a Control Unit Supply. Neither the manual that the scan tool came with nor the Bently manual makes any reference to a Control Unit. any help in identifying that part would be helpful
