Hey everyone,
If i replace the brake rotors, pads and sensor wires for my E90 2006 325i,will i need to reset the computer so it tells me when they need replacing again or does the computer automatically reset itself once i get done with the replacing of the parts??
The computer has to be reset manually each time you replace your parts..well up till now i never heard of a technology which lets the computer to tell you automatically when the parts need to be changed.
If the pad wear sensor has been tripped then you will need to replace it. If it hasn't then you dont need to replace it. When replaced the car should clear the warning light automatically from the dash. Should it not, unplug the battery for one hour then re connect.
Thanks a lot Vader.I realized from his comment that he doesn't know exactly what he's talking about.
