You cant. But thats okay.

The white smoke is a common sign of a blown head gasket. Not nessicarily a cracked head. Check your oil, if it looks milky brown then you have coolant mixing with oil. To confirm for sure, gt a pressure test done.

If the head gasket is blown they will have to remove the head, and most likley machine it at which point the shop doing the work would inspect for cracks. - Alberta based BMW Community
