I just got my 1st BMW and its a beauty 2008 528xi with 43,000 miles looks great inside and out runs great so far but looking for any advice on maintenance????
Welcome to the werkz. The 528xi is a very comfortable ride. At 43,000 you shouldn't have to really worry about anything besides regular oil changes but when u get closer to 60k is when you have your first big maintenance check up.
For newer vehicles yes but personally I change my oil every 3-4k to keep the engine running strong and it also reduces wear and improves longevity of the engine.
I just got a 2008 BMW xi and would like to know the next time I fill up for gas can I input fuel injector cleaner for better gas and engine performance and if so what is the best brand?
Some Fuel injector cleaners are stp or Lucas oil and if ur looking for octane boost some good ones are stp, nos or Lucas oil again try any of those and the can be find in any auto store.
Sorry Ivan, but I wouldnt put any of those in my car.
The only one I would use is Chevron Techron. Its the only additive that has been scientifically proven by an independent third party lab to actually work as intendend.
Heres the Wikipedia link to it, but check out BobIsTheOilGuy Forums for detailed information. Their is tons of information about it. Techron - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
