If you dont know what your talking about, you should ask first before you mislead people.

Shocks have a recommened replacement interval of 80,000 to 100,000 miles. I suggest replacing them when you feel they are not dampening properly anymore. You are free to replace them at either interval, but when repacing them you need to replace the shock mounts as well, especially the Rear Shock Mounts (RSM) - Alberta based BMW Community
