Actually, i have those parts too.. This is indeed the VERY SAME BMW used in "Back to the Future part 2".

After years of neglect by former owners, the last guy i bought it from started the rebuild of this car and has gotten most of the mechanical work out of the way. I am now undertaking the loving restoration of this car.

I turned to this forum to pick everyone's brains on making sure it runs properly. I look forward to interacting with you folks. I hope nobody is too much of a purist that they can't appreciate the car as part of movie history.

Right now, it needs an interior rebuild, clutch, fuel pump, radiator and the rest is minor stuff.. like hood and trunk latches.

I look forward to interacting with everyone.

Have fun man. Keep us updated with any of the additional weirdness you find in there.

Is that Delorian I see hiding in your garage a movie car too?

Nah, actually, it belongs to the gentleman that i bought the car from, it's a normal Delorean. Those pics were taken when i picked the car up.

If you notice, there is a 77 633CSI Eurospec sitting on the side of the garage. I am having that shipped up here soon. Most likely i'll scavenge parts off of it and then sell off the rest of the car.

The car was in a museum in Branson, MO for a number of years. after the musuem was shut down, the owner left it sitting out in the elements.

It must have sat out for about 5 years or so. This last guy bought it a few years back and garaged it and started the resto on it. He got most of the mechanical work done. He wanted the garage space for another car and offered it up to me.

So now i have the car, and am trying to get it cherry once again.
