Exclamation 1980 633csi- please help

hi, as unbelievable as this sounds i am a bmw client advisor and my 1980 633csi won't turn off..thats right..i take the key out and the engine still runs..it gets sicker..i have my own personal level 1 tech and a level 4 foreman who have gone over the whole ignition system, relays, everything and can't figure it out. i mean i put in a new ignition switch, new ignition wires..we brought in some old time techs who just shake their heads..the cars perfect in all areas..but it won't turn off..how can that be?

i have to stall it in gear and then take the battery lead off as when i stall it in gear the dashboard lights for the battery, etc stay on

the latest thought was a short in the wire harness?..i'm not sure i buy that..i still think it's stuck relay but they say no..

i don't want to say which bmw dealer i work for but lets just say it's the largest single point dealer in the us and my level 1 tech can't figure it out?
can anyone please help me and tell me what he's missing?..how can the car not turn off?

they gotta be missing something...i promise anybody who can help me i'll hook them up with a sick deal on an 09 or whatever you might want..i need my baby to turn off!

sorry but i'm freaking..this can't be possible

changed your main relay yet??? they go bad from time to time.... could be a short in the wiring harness... pull it out when it does this ans smack it acouple times and plug it back in does it click on(not just turn everything on but do you actually HEAR the relay click on?) when did this problem start?
