Radio problems- E38

Hi All,

I'm having a serious problem with the radio/cd player in my E38. Sometimes the radio work but the CD player doesnt other times neither works- yet the orange light next to the knob to turn the radio on remains on.

The weird thing is I had to jump start it a couple of times and guess what everything started working fine!. Then about a month later it stopped working. I then changed the battery (because it was weak anyway), & everything worked fine for about 2 months. Recently I left my lights on and I know that must have caused a drain on the battery but now it doesnt turn on again.

So in summary 2 questions:

1. Does anyone know what the problem is here?

2. How do I reset/disconnect/connect the radio to the mains- Im guessing resetting might sort it!
