A couple of months ago, i noticed that my passenger's side seat was tilted and crooked, so and I noticed that it was not moving up on the right side of the seat. The left side is perfectly opperational. I took it to a mechanic and he told me that it was one of the motors and it would cost $450 to fix it.

Is it something that anyone can do in their driveway, how do i get it out of there, and do i have to go to the dealer to get the motor.

You didnt mention what year and model car you have. On the earlier cars the seat cables were a common problem. There is a way to repair the cables but 1st post your year and model.

Yes you can fix it yourself. Mine has 4 bolts in the bottom track that bolt it to the floor. Remove them by moving the seat up and slide forwards for the back 2 and back for the front 2, then unplug everythinig and remove and go to a salvage yard and get the right motor ( 1 cost me $15.) Make sure you note which one isnt working when you move the seats. It took me about 45 minutes not counting the hour at the wrecking yard.
