Noob here.. (intro)

Hello fellas,
So here I am, a proud owner of a new (old) BMW 735i (E32) 1990... 199 000 miles .. no oil leaks, just not taken care of.. It has cost me a fortune -the whole 800$.. Its registered, running (drove it home) body clean and shiny.... There is a reason why it cost 800$: engine idles roughly, stalls on low RPM`s, running rich and so.. my first thoughts = replace wires, distributor cap, MAF, clean throttle body, replace vacuum and intake hoses, could also be fuel pump not working properly, has anyone had some experience with that? thanks

Idle control valve is a classic fix for most older bimmers. Try that first, then move onto those other ideas. Or do them anyway as maintenance, never hurts.
