The Led panel in the head unit in my Z3 needs to be changed out. The panel doesn't light up anymore at night with the lights on, but the radio works, and you can see it when theres a light shined on it, especially when the tops down and the sun's behind. So I've clearly come to the right diagnosis. I have directions on how to change out the light in an older 5 series I believe. Can somebody just provide me with peace of mind and tell me its no different. Or better yet tell me briefly how to do it. I know how o remove the unit, as well as have the 5 digit access code, its just changing out the light.
