Ipod/sirius Hook Up On An 02' 745

How do I hook up my IPOD to this system? FM Modulator or is there a better option? There is a cool item called Ice Gear but won't work on the 02 745. Also I want to get Sirius satellite radio hooked up in the ride- How? Thanks for your help

I don't think the ipod can be connected to the vehicle but satelite radio can.
to do the satelite radio buy the kit from the dealer and have them install it becasue the vehicles software has to be changed in order for the car to see that it has satelite radio. there is no way that you can do it yourself unless of course you have an SSS machine that can change the software order of your vehicle.

Keep an eye on Alpine. They have things for this sort of thing, a control box for Ipod hookup, and I'm pretty sure they have satellite radio too.

Of course, the other, grossly expensive way to do this is to take the car to the dealer and slip them some cash to influence the install of a newer audio system control wired for satellite, as well as the Ipod hookup gear found in the new 3 series. It would be a custom job, and likely very exepnsive, but I'm sure its not impossible, and there are few places that know the system better than the dealer.
