i bought my cr about a week ago (in sig) and i am very hapy with it so far. i got it for $25k with 63k miles. but, i noticed when going through small potholes or over bumps that there is a clunking noise coming from the right front wheel. i was thinking maybe it is a control arm bushing, tie rod bushing, or something of the sort. is this a common 7 series problem? and what is the most common thing that is worn out or 'broken'? thanks! i didnt have the time today to look under it because i got home from work after dark. thanks!
It's most likely a bushing yeah. Check the lower control arm. I've already changed my bushings on both sides, including the rear that developed a spring squeak. This is a normal problem that develops on any car with higher milage that hasnt had the suspension serviced. Not too expensive to fix tho, if you're willing to do the labor yourself.
