e24 diff choices?

what are the best choices for diffs (ratio wise) for daily driving/auto cross/drift(yes i said drift, no its not going to be an all the time thing, just every now and then). and wheres is a good place to buy one. i looked on diffs online, they didnt seem to have anything for e24s. lmk thanks in advance

I thought about tossing a 3.91 LSD in mine.

Figure that's plenty long enough for highways with some balls out acceleration. I forget what they come stock with. 3.73 might not be a bad choice either.

But if you want the ass end sliding, you definatley want a LSD.

all m cars have lsds, i heard that i can use e30 diffs

you have to swap the back plate and axle flanges from your old differential

o ok just a rubber mount on the back looked different... i have a lsd differential for my old e30!!! YAY i also have to replace my diff mounts anyway..... ill take some pics of both for you later...

damn that sucks, do you know how to take out the front grills, i got the 4 screws out but i think their another one by the turn signals?

yeah open the hood and there are 2 nuts that hold in the turn signals undo them and the grille comes out(just took mine out yesterday...to be painted and polished..)
