725tds is an unknown quantity at this point
Hello Everyone I have recently bought a 725TDS Automatic. The car rides very well and I have no problems (yet).
The only annoying thing I have is that the Center Console and Dash board Display information i.e. Radio and mileometer e.t.c. have pxels missing so you dont get the full sentence or number (know what I mean?). It is superficial but its beginning to bug me .
Is there any way to remedy this ?

I am not familiar with a 725, but my 740 had pixels missing in the center dash display, where the radio stations and computer mileage and other information is displayed. I noticed this while the car was still under warranty, so BMW replaced it at no cost to me. I suppose that if your car is still under dealer warranty they will do the same.

Good luck.

you may want to look at www.e38.org on the pixel problems/solutions.

I've got the same issues, whenever the weather dips below 22c my dashboard pixils (ie. ck control panel, outside temp, odometer, etc) are crystal clear. However when the weather goes above 23c, my pixels fade and columns disappear. Besides replacing entire dashboard cluster not much else you can do; go figure ghead

On my climate control system, the temp readout on the passenger side are complete gone. My driver side temp readout is ok but noticed today 2 columns of pixels are missing.................
