BMW 8 series

Hey lads,

How's everything. I am kinda new to this place in the forum as i am always in the E36 one, however, getting rid of my 320i SE and i am looking at upgrading to the best BMW ever: The magical 8 series.

Just wanted to know what can you lads tell me about it? Is it a good car, will it last i mean?
Are there problems all the time with it and is it very expensive to mantain? Apart from petror and insurance obviously.

Kinda looking at the following ones at the moment? what do you think?

I would go with the Black one, only because I'm not into the Reds. I think you've got some good prices there, I would definitely test drive before I committed.

I owned an 840 until 2000 and loved it. I wish I'd gone for the V12, but it was still a blast. I never really had any major mechanical problems, however I did have issues with electronics inside. My tach went out first, followed by the A/C blower fan. I would love to own one again...good luck shopping!
