I just purchased a '95 with 100k miles on it and would like to exchange comments.
Matt, thank you for taking the time to read my email. I will look for the engine number this weekend.
The car is beautiful and in great shape considering the miles. Three different people owned it previuosly. The last owner drove the car for 10k miles in 3-1/2 years. I just replaced the spark plugs last weekend. The next thing is changing the belts, radiator flush & oil change.
I still have my 540i and it's in top shape. I didn't have the guts to get rid of.
My other choice was the M5. But I was looking for something different since the 540 has the same body style. I will keep both of these cars until they die! My Fiero GT is my daily driver. It's a nice car as well.
