Thumbs up

hey, just last week i bought a 1984 633. The car is nearly immaculate, i truly
feel like i stole it from the guy and love it. Just a couple of things that need to
be done, 1 is an engine issue that i'm having a mechanic work on, the other
is a cracked rear axle and bum shocks which I'm doing myself. My question is
whether anyone knows any good/reputable online sources for getting a new rear
axle and shocks OR someone in the new york metro area (graveyard, parts store, whatever). Of course i've seen a lot online, but i'd prefer to hear from someone who's had some
positive experiences with a source. New to all this bmw stuff and I'm finding myself obsessed already. I cannot wait to begin, so any help at all would be greatly
appreciated!

Not certain about your area but there has to be a pick & pull for both things. make sure you get the 5 or 6 series shock / springs, 7 series are too long. and be sure to check axle ratios when you swap it out.
