so I was cruising bmwusa.com and I went to the build a bmw thing, and couldn't help but notice that from that picture hte 6 series convertible looks remarkably like a - dare i say - mustang convertible.

please assuage my fears, is it just that one picture?

Snowjob, I own an old 6 series, Its a beautiful car.

The new 6 series blows wet ass. I hate the fucking thing. It's too damn round.

Nothing like driving a suppository these days. They could have done so much better on the new 6 series. It baffles me why they even changed the body style!

ya i agree d3ity. i have an old 6 too and i love it. the only thing that they did right on that new 6 was put the "645" on the back. And that might have even been a mistake too!

i agree snowjob. it does look like a mustang now that you say it.
i have to say im a little diappointed with Chirs Bangle's new designs. the
7 series has the same problem, too rounded over and bloated looking.
the 7 series and the 6 series need aggressive styling to complement their
V8's

All I got to say....is that you can't compare the new 6 to a Ford Mustang. I hate the Ford Mustang. BMWs run in different circles than the lowly POS Mustangs...I like the new look, on both the new 6 and 7....and whether you like the body style or not....what truely matters is what's on the inside that counts!

The new 6 might not have the best looks, but it is one of the nicest cars i have ever ridden in. It was also a memorable experience.

If you havent driven the new 6 you can only bash it's looks.
