2004 X3 Oil Service And Check Engine Light

I changed my oil on my X3 some time ago and the computer has finally reached the "return to dealer" mileage for the expensive oil change. How do I reset the oil mileage counter and turn off the "check engine soon" light on my X3. I have read the posts on grounding pin 7 and 19, but I have not located the diagnostic port under the hood. Am I blind?? Thanks for anyone's help. Craig

On your model oil service lamps are reset using the instrument cluster, search the FAQ.

Also oil service should be free, covered in the maintenance contract.
