jyep is an unknown quantity at this point
Am in the process of purchasing a used 1995 BMW 730i, the car is absolutely beautiful and in good running condition.

First question: When car is secure I noticed I can still open the fuel panel which allows access to fuel cap, is this suppose to happen when the car is secured using the remote key

2nd question: BMW remote key has 2 buttons, since car does not come with manual, what are function of the two buttons. Upon initial practice, appears 1st button is used to secure the car and 2nd button is used to unlock the car, any other functions for these buttons (ie. panic, etc)

3rd question: notice when I secure car, there is no flashing of lights or chirp/beep to indicate car alarm is active, although, the red LED on top of dashboard is blinking which I guess means everything is OK. How do I activate the flashing light & chirping sound?

this is a great site along with www.e38.org
