| I have a similar problem with my 2001 530i. Mine is intermittent. I replaced the aux fan in July because it had a burned out motor. Now, about 50% of the time it continues to run after turning off the engine. It continues to run until I unplug it at the connector mounted to the shroud. Sometimes it will run on high speed immediately after I start the cold engine. Yesterday it did a very interesting thing. The car had been sitting for half the day in a parking lot. As I approached the car I hit to button on the key to unlock the door. As I pressed the button the lights blinked to little beep sounded and the fan started to run. What do you think about that? So how about some trouble shooting advice? I'm stumped. |
