| OK OK - first off - WHERE ARE THE PICTURES!?? And secondly, Who drives a BMW (Let alone an ///M?!) at lower than $3K RPM?? I babied mine and kept it under 4500 RPM until the first 1500 miles and barely made it through the "granny-shifting" period! This is not about balls or ricer, this is about the fact that BIMMERS WERE MADE TO BE DRIVEN HARD - this is a quote form my dealer service tech before the days of mods. The gas milage is also another BS issue IMO, as especially if it is not a daily driver, the car is by definition a PLEASURE car, and she wants to run and run free! Give her the workouts she was born for! That red stripe in the M logo denotes her racing heritage - DO NOT DENY HER HER NATURAL BIRTHRIGHT! If you plan to "baby" the car by driving it as described, you are not babying it, you are in facrt doing a disservice to the car and yourself. No one is saying you have to go to the track if that's not your thing, but if you are an enthusiast, then for heaven's sakes man - be ENTHUSED! Run - run free! STEP ON THE GAS GRANDMA....YOUR MIGHTY E36 IS WAITING ON YOU TO TAKE HER FOR HER WORKOUT...
