| 1997 528i: bought for 12,600, replaced water pump, thermostat, power steering lines, headlights (projectors), shocks and struts. Overall pretty cheap to own.
1997 M3: water pump (twice), radiator, power steering lines, shocks, struts, springs, sways, wheels, headlights, fluids maintenance. Cheap to own by M car standards.
